Did you get selected in the lottery and have received your H1B docs? If so, you need to activate H1B and you can do visa transfer to a new company.

In this case the first thing you need to do is talk to your company's immigration team and ask to submit your H1B application during this year's lottery.

Is there a way PwC can sponsor you for GC instead, and then move out after getting the GC?

Ah gotcha. Well, as KPMG1 said, someone has to file for an H1B petition on your behalf, and be picked-up in the lottery this March, before you can proceed with applying for one. So find a company that will sponsor your H1 petition first, then hope & pray you get picked. So in effect, getting a GC by waiting for 3 years is better than trying to get an H1.

Do VISA has 4 weeks work from anywhere policy? Do they have any flexible timings, I am going to join them in May but little skeptical about flexibility meanwhile I have got the offer from Mastercard so I am confused.

Anyone who has/ heard of fbookers who successfully switched roles and gotten a promotion (L3 to L4)? Context I am planning a switch from analyst to data scientist from a non US location to US. However, L4 is needed for this jump (prob due to visa issues). With the current revamp in PSC cycle, I am not sure if I can successfully get promoted by next year and make the jump. To do so, I heard there needs to be 2 EE (for this half and next half). YOE 5, BASE 100K

Good Morning. Here's my dilemma. I have an approved H1B application which got picked up in 2019-20 lot and approved in Jan 2020, before the world went into lockdown. The stamping process was initiated but it couldn't complete as the USCIS offices were shutdown die to the pandemic. I have watched patiently about all the regulations Trump Administration brought in to deny any entry to H1B applicants who weren't already working in the states or who were waiting to return.

Long does it take to switch from L1B to L1A visa? (Promoted to Manager). Nothing done yet. Any experiences?
