Let’s not fool ourselves, she’s ultimately selling herself with this post. However, this is the best and only type of platitude that should be allowed on LinkedIn... and her reward will be more business.
She’s the only recruiter on the platform I’ve come across who actually calls out HR fuckery and clearly doesn’t give a sh!t about sharing what’s happening behind the scenes and how talent is getting screwed. I find her posts uplifting and helpful, and it’s refreshing to see someone spill all the dirty secrets that go on in recruiting.

A lot of job postings are done to get around work visa situations. I know in some countries companies need to “prove” to their government a candidate from a foreign country has skills 95% of your country’s applicants do not. So they post a job for 3 months, decline all the applications then submit that info to their gov’t to hire the foreign candidate

This is sad but TRUE, it was hard to believe when I started The Gradient. We Get push back from companies all the time because we do not post jobs that are not active. We clean our board every 45 days of jobs that have not been filled.
Our profiles are trackable meaning we report to our members what is being viewed, yes even your work.
Pipelines should be only with universities and with organizations, not job posts it is false ADVERTISING.
We have active jobs and yes we are an inclusive community. If you can buy a Jay-Z ticket you are welcome, diversity is who we individually but the company, and work should be inclusive!
