Planning a trip with 1 day in Philadelphia and 3-4 days NYC. What would make the most logistical sense for travel (where to fly in, stay, fly out, etc)?

Would it make sense to fly into Philly, stay the night, take train to NYC, fly out from there? Or just stay in NYC and do a day trip to Philly?

I am currently working in a small company as embedded system lead software engineer. I am not excellent but I am good at what I am doing.I joined last year with 13.5 lpa(all in hand) with 45% hike, after joining i realised it was a mistake as the culture was toxic. so I started looking for job from January onwards.After multiple trials I have an offer from endurance company pune. But the offer they are offering is less According to me just 25% hike(with variable).
Any suggestions on this

One of my goals this year is to dedicate more time to taking care of myself and spending more time outside of school doing the things I love. I feel like I start off well, but within a couple of weeks-months am totally off track and overwhelmed, and most of my *freetime* is spent catching up or simply being to exhausted to do what I want.
