Within Accenture Strategy there are multiple teams that do everything from Strategy to Tech . There is one team called Business Strategy , if you are part of that you get the designation Strategy Analyst . If you are part of any of the other teams you are called a Management Consulting Analyst. It is a feel good name for tech consultants who feel better calling themselves “management consultants”.

Can someone give insights into the roles and responsibilities under each track Strategy analyst vs Management consultant

I'm looking for thoughts around training (classroom and self paced) offered by your firm. How important is it to you. Do u really have time to take the training. Just curious

Accenture folks, could someone briefly explain what it means to work in Capability Network? What are the biggest benefits and drawbacks of working in Capability Network? Currently at a Big4.

Just wanted to say I’m in your beautiful city on vacation right now and have met the nicest people! Everyone has been so friendly and helpful with recommendations on where to go. That’s not always the case with places I have been to before. Anyways, loving it here and all the great people that live here! Shout out to y’all!!!

Hi everyone! I have an interview for the APMM role and a bit nervous tbh. Does anyone have any tips or resources/willing to chat to help me prepare? Google is my dream company so thanks in advance!

What is your bonus amount at your firm and which role are you?

TLDR: First time H1B RFE =purely a wait game? got RFE last Monday, wrote to lawyer last and this Monday but haven’t heard back. Should I just sit and wait? How long does it typically take for people to hear back RFE results? I have friends who waited for 4+ months last year but also saw cases of a few weeks in this bowl. Confused and lost.

Why exactly is the lateral market so hot? More deals going on? People leaving big law completely? More people taking parental leave? A mix of these things?

Any fish bowlers at San Fran airport now? Long delay 😒

The more pedestrian your intellect, the better fit you are at D Heard of a colleague with an FRM charter being laid off today. Overall excellent person. And you won't believe who they promote year after year.. the character, curiosity and quality of the lifers Don't join this firm if you for a love of learning and to be inspired. Join if you are a middling who wants a good brand to hack ahead in life and rise above your station

How to get over imposter syndrome? Came from consulting and moved into a program manager role and I’m the first hire in this role and have the potential to build out a team and make lasting impact. Its week 1 and I feel like I’m in way over my head! How do you shake this feeling? I know I can do the job but I am sometimes my own worst enemy when it comes to pushing myself outside my comfort zone. Hubs has been helpful in hyping me up but I still feel so imposter-y.

CSR now gives 10x for booking through the portal for hotels, but I’ve heard we won’t get Bonvoy points if we book through portal because it’s booked through 3rd party? Is that true? What about nights towards status?

I am currently in consulting with 3 years of experience - currently a Senior; 1 year previously in industry. What is the optimal number of years to stay in consulting? 3? 4? Or suck it up and stay till 5? I ask because I’ve been all over the gamut of recruiting from associate to senior associate roles for interviewing….

If we were rejected for an internship position is it still okay to contact the recruiter for a jr position?

I’m thinking of quitting breastfeeding. My baby is 5 months old, and my pump just broke, and I don’t think she’s eating enough and she wakes up all the time at night hungry. I’m just tired of it. I’d rather just give her bottles and call it a day. Ready for my husband to take the night feeds, ready to be able to have a drink without worrying about when I have to feed the baby. The actual breastfeeding has been easy, which is why I feel guilty for “quitting.”

I’m tired. I love wfh. But balancing it with cooking, cleaning, teacher, parent, caretaker - I’m drained. I want to sleep and wake up when it’s all over
