I’m job hunting in Los Angeles, looking at a variety of titles (HRBP, Sr. HRBP, Manager, Sr. Manager, Director). I have 8 YOE and my SHRM-SCP. I reached my report limit on payscale.com, so I used a variety of other sites to price the roles (BLS, salary.com, Glassdoor, LinkedIn, Robert Half). The problem I’m having is the huge inconsistencies between sources (there are $40k differences between some of the identified medians). (Continued…)
Hi everyone! I have a very large network of connections and former colleagues who have been affected by the massive layoffs lately. I’m compiling a list of open roles to share with them. If you’re interested in sharing some info please DM me and I’ll add to the spreadsheet. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1mDR7IiIsg_tvy2H-xYCO6QIb44-P3j1mRZqNOmBXaSI/edit?usp=sharing

That’s horrible. I’m in Florida and luckily we were able to shut down the business. It is horrible to think employers are forcing their employees in. Horrible !
I'm sure there will be lawsuits when the dust settles and the people who went through that can get their bearings. I think it's disgusting that people are willing to prey on other people like that during a hurricane, putting them and their families in danger. I also heard of a sheriff who refused to evacuate the jail and now there are hundreds of people missing and injured in that same town. I wish there was a more organized national effort in terms of natural disasters, especially in places that are often affected like Florida.
I agree completely! Times like this show which companies actually car about their employees.

😬😳
This can't be real. Seriously? I never imagined that the time will come where material things become more valuable than human lives. Whoever does these kind of things need to learn their lessons.

Capitalism see no value in human only in money 😪
It's absolute insanity
What??? Really? Are they even human? They are prioritizing business over their employees' lives.
I worked for a company like this about 10 years ago. We were expecting over 3 ft of snow. They told us to be prepared to come in in the morning, if we didn't think we could get there we could bring our clothing with us and we could sleep there, or if we lived within 15 minutes of the place they would send jeeps/4 wheelers or whatever to come get us to come in. They told us we were not allowed to use a sick day or vacation day and if we called out we would be fired.
