You should prob first google CRM since you don’t know what it is. The main difference between all other CRM platforms and Salesforce is that SF is cloud based.

It’s more now, but at its core, b2b sales tool and records database tracking actions at the Contact, Account, & Opportunity level.
They’ve acquired…a lot. Including exactTarget which is now branded as part of SFMC Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Pardot.
If you know at least 3 people in b2b sales, one can most likely give you a tour of their SF platform, but I’ve never seen 2 instances set up the same way so I would really look at the trailhead community for best practice guidance
