DC keeps turning the screws and ignoring the businesses folding daily. See stories about $1000 fines for businesses not following guidelines. I want businesses to be responsible for their employees and customers health. But ya gotta wonder what a $1000 fine does to profitability with business down 50-80% . If I’m the one taking risk, at some point the frustration just mounts. VA wants their economy to survive and come back quickly once there’s a viable vaccine or treatment.
Stop watching cable news and getting lost in clickbait. When the history is written with a fuller data picture, it will note how one orange idiot caused 1/3 of the populace to ignore more sound health advice and another 1/3 to overreact. Relax!
I was taking a walk there on Saturday and it was incredible how many people were packed into spaces and not distancing, especially at The Lot

It’s concerning but NoVa has been flat or slightly decreasing (# of new cases) for the past few weeks. So it’s risky, but not crazy
However, the rest of VA is struggling 🥴
This reasoning drives me insane. The reason numbers get better is BECAUSE of quarantine measures. If you relax the second things get better, they go right back up.
