Been with a marketing agency for almost 2 years now. Was overlooked for my annual review and then in August the company was acquired, so I've been part of the other company for 90+days now. Always give 100% and take on new challenging duties, my new supervisor has already commented that she and other directors take notice. Asking for an increase soon and curious what metrics or evidence would be best to present my case. I would really like to grow within rather than jumping ship.

I’m having a sit down with my creative directors next week, they have some concerns. I’ve been doing well with my radio and tv assignments but not as well with my collateral and email assignments. I’m having trouble adopting the already established voice of the latter but the tv and radio work I get to create my own voice for each project. Don’t you love presenting work you hate to clients 😭😭😭. We started with something great but as it went around the team members it really got diluted to something… well not good, and now I’m presenting it 🥸 AND I SOUND LIKE I LOVE IT 😭

I’m frustrated because I feel like my writer gets more credit for our work than I do. We concept together, come up with lines together, etc. In fact on our last project I came up with the headline. Everyone’s raving about it and praising her like a god. Idk I’m hurt and feel like chopped liver. Lol.
