Hi Folks, I submitted documents 2 weeks ago for BGV in Tech Mahindra. I have not got any response so far from HR. However, last week they scheduled another interview and dropped me email just before 15 mins, yet i joined the interview but no one joined from their end. Now, HR is not responding. What should I understand from this case? Am I rejected? Tech Mahindra Tata Consultancy
Any insight on Colliers ME strategy/implementation consulting practice?
Is it a career dead-end if I want to transition to a larger firm in the future? They seem to be growing really fast, so I feel like there’s room for quick growth and career advancement, based on some conversations I’ve had, but I don’t wanna shoot myself in the foot long term. Also heard lots of MBB and other tier 1/tier 2 firms are contracting them for parts of their engagements. Thoughts? Colliers International

Experience should come before education. A one day virtual program does not count as an “experience.” And the experiences should be ordered from most recent to oldest
Subject Expert
I think for a fresh grad, education should be above experience
Id check to make sure that your resume is optimized for ATS systems. Maybe quantify your impact more from your experiences. Make sure you are ready for MBB case studies by preparing a lot as they will be different from what you went through with Pwc. And you probably have to chose which industry you want as they will be looking for different things.
Should be better now
Is that the only one I should remove? Should I keep the crowe and BCG ones on there?
Thanks. Boiler Up! I’m waiting to hear back from Bain bel which I think is my best shot to break into MBB. But I’ll continue to network and optimize my resume.
Gonna be tough if not impossible… not a target school and GPA/experience isn’t standout. Why are you aiming for MBB only? Plenty of good consulting opportunities
Will be extremely tough since non target and not a top GPA. Start networking now, your best shot is a referral
Above comments are right than an MBB internship is going to be very tough to secure. But don’t be discouraged I graduated with a 3.2 from a non-target. IB may be your best option
Have you considered joining the Purdue IB Club? A lot of students placed for internships for summer 2022 and 2023 for IB and PE
I learned about it yesterday actually, is it too late to join? Dm please.

A couple thoughts from a fellow boilermaker IE alum:
Content: Obviously this will get refined as you actually have these internships and experiences, but make sure the priority lines up with the content. The PwC internship should have the most content and be the punchiest language.
Formatting: Reverse the order of your experience, most recent should be up top. Also split the forums/career weekends into their own section below experience. They’re relevant but don’t carry the same weight as real internships.
GPA: I think people are way over blowing this. 3.55 is a fantastic engineering GPA at Purdue. You’re probably in the top 20% of students at a top three IE program. But it will always tough to compete with business degrees and Ivy grade inflation. Recruiters from the Midwest that see a lot of Purdue/Illinois/Michigan/Wisconsin engineering resumes will understand. That said, I’m of course biased. Most important will be your elevator pitch on why IE is a good basis for the industries you’re trying to break into.
Interests: either make these more relatable to consulting/IB or just ditch this section.
This is super helpful feedback. Thank you so much for sharing
Thank you so much! Boiler up. I wanted to send a snarky response to these people on how a purdue engineering 3.5 isn’t low, maybe it’s low compared to a BA in economics or management 🤣 decided not to. I will make the changes you stated and once I finish my PwC internship I will certainly add more detail!
