I have given my interview in HCL and cleared 1 TP, 1 hcl manager & Client TP and Client Manager rounds .
In initial screening HR told the generic statement of 30-40% and I have given my ask as 50% minimum. After clearing the rounds I heard from the project team that Client has given great feedback and wanted to take me in .
What is the % I can ask in HR Discussion and will they reject in HR if I ask more now .
I have 9.5 years total experience and role is Storage Architect.

Does anyone here without an MBA/MHA feel stuck in their current role? I have 8+ years of experience in consulting but recently moved to industry and am feeling a little stuck in terms of career mobility.

Anyone get a verbal offer where the hiring manager tells you they will be sending a formal offer letter, but be patient. No details on compensation, benefits, PTO, etc shared at all. It’s been a week and I’m still waiting. Not sure if this is an ominous sign.

For those who work in the state and local (MTS) practice, would you say working on income tax or indirect tax (sales tax) would give you better exit opportunities and a better chance of a career outside of public accounting?

I have a query, my Current Salary is 3.15 Lacs with 3 years experience in Customer service , I applied for new position in Airbnb and salary negotiation is next step, how to know what are the market standards for this job and as per discussion with other employee with same experience , he is getting 5 Lacs in that company but asking for 5.5 lacs is like 70% , I was hired by my last company during pandemic and was offered no raise from my previous salary
Is it recommended to ask for 66% raise?

After trying to find an in-house job since July, I finally have an offer at a company that I really like. Total comp is around $20-25k off from where I want to be. Equity comp may be the only way to bridge the gap but they said they don’t normally include equity comp at the corporate counsel level, which is odd. I have found that most companies do. 6.5 YOE going to HC for an L4 Supply Chain role in the Bay. Based on my research and people I know I was going to target $250k TC. Does 140k salary, 21k bonus (15%), and $350k in equity feel right? During my interviewing process, my recruiter told me they were able to skip the hiring committee and start creating an offer. I thought the hiring committee determines the offer - is that not correct?

I am planning to start with Google's Cloud Digital Leader (CDL) certification and later will move further for Associate Cloud Engineer Certification. But upon searching on the internet I couldn't find any jobs that require CDL, mostly starting with Associate Cloud. Since I don't have any experience in Cloud and to start with Associate Cloud I need to have at least +6 months of experience on Google Cloud.

Does anyone have any experience with leaving Google then attempting to rejoin after 1 or 2 years? I read online that is mostly about your manager's feedback upon your leave, and that you could sometimes be easily accepted again and sometimes without an interview.
