So I adopted a cat during quarantine. Although I love him, having him seems to have worsened my anxiety. I would never give him away but the responsibility has been giving me severe anxiety. Even though I had thought long and hard about getting him. I think coupled with the fact I started a new job a month ago, I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed. Hi Everyone, I have joined IBM 2 weeks back and project is not assigned to me yet. Now the thing is IBM has my previous company as client, Now HR asking me to work over there for atleast 6months. But am not at all interested to go over there and work.

Can we reject this project and ask IBM HR to show me some other projects. TILL NOW NO OTHER PROJECT IS SHOWN TO ME

Even my people manager also wants to work me there but I told him not interested. Will it effect me in any way at IBM.

Anyone know of available part-time (3-5 hours week) Salesforce Project Management gigs?

I am an hourly employee. Currently if there is a hospital call that needs to be done, someone will volunteer to do it for overtime. Now, my company wants to create a set call schedule. If we get a call at 5pm, when my shift ends, can I still be required to complete the call? I will be paid overtime but don’t like the fact they will force it upon us.

Yesterday my boss scheduled a meeting with me for something he needed help with. He was 15min late & took a phone call from his boss during…10min. This has become a habit. At one point I even stoped scheduling our 1:1’s because he misses them so often but he realized a couple months later & told me to start scheduling them again. I told him they aren’t necessary but he insisted. What do I do? It makes me feel less important/unappreciated. I rather not even schedule to meet. Advice?

If you say that you would have released offers to 2 or more resources so that there's no dependency in worst case where new recruit turns down the offer.

I have an offer now with YOE 15 from Redhat (Associate Manager , Permanent WFH ) , Netcraker (Project Manager , Pune ) , BT ( Kolkata , Service Readiness Manager) , which one to choose in terms of WLB , growth , job security and learning . My current org TechM has also matched the Money offering 60% of demand immediately as Hike Letter and remaining 40% as retention bonus to be paid as monthly allowances now and added in CTC next year . Onboarded HCL on friday, during interview etc they told me it's a Development project but now they have put me in support saying they still need to onboard resources for the Dev project and working out few other things and might take 2-3 months.

Also, the laptop will be shipped after few days itseems.

Now firstlY I'm not happy for the fact its a support work.
So can I just abscond from the organisation since I already have other offer in hand ..or server NP?

But, I do not have a degree. It's harder to find companies value skills than a degree. Can someone refer to a company that values skills not degree?
