Hi everyone, I'm new to Canada and want to start my career here in the Financial and Banking industry. I have passed the CFA level 2 exam and was wondering if I have to complete the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) as most of the job postings here mention about it. I saw that if someone passes at least the CFA level 1 exam then the requirement of CSC is exempted. Can anyone enlighten me about this? As the CSC exam costs above 1000 CAD, I wanted to be sure if I need it before investing behind it.

Just a question for those here. What does anyone see as a job outlook for a pharmacy technician that has 15 years of experience and is studying for the CPhT? Me: M7 MBA, 8 YOE, including in industry operations and T2 strategy consulting

Them: MM PE buyout fund, no specific industry focus. Most recent fund $2.5B+, AUM $5B+

Role: VP of Operations, joining an Ops team that will be ~10 people total top to bottom

Offer: $200 base, $150 bonus, and ‘carry’ that is actually just a deal performance-based cash payment that is awarded to non-carry individuals (cont)
