Because all of the people who chose to defer their acceptance this year due to covid will be in the same pool as new applicants next year - high likelihood that the people who were previously already accepted then chose to defer their spot will be accepted again, which decreases the amount of remaining spots for new applicants, unless programs decide to substantially increase their class sizes, which is unlikely

like

There are so many schools who are saying they aren’t going to let people defer like last year. Anyone who applied this year applied knowing covid was a thing, so they are going to be extra strict. I highly doubt next year will be as bad as this year

Lol bruh the “underdeveloped world”? If you think the rest of the world is made up of shithole countries, then just say that instead

And yeah, of course you would have a better lifestyle living like a king by paying drivers and servants pennies per hour then you would as a middle class American… that people in the third world are willing to work for next to nothing is further proof that the country is underdeveloped

Hi 🐠! Im current at EY in a consulting group that does not focus on deals, but have completed few due diligence type engagements. We focus mostly on ODD (Operational Due Diligence) for private equity firms. I really want to make it into IB. I have an interview for a Valuation and Opinions Role. Would that help in transitioning in as an IB Analyst? I would have a substantial pay cut (100K to 85K - excluding bonus). My current experience has not been seen as valuable by recruiters.

Want to shift from advertising strategy into a brand side marketing gig or a product design role. Thinking about getting a masters MBA or masters in industrial design to make the shift. I’m having a hard time getting companies to consider me otherwise and feel like I have quite a few skill gaps to cover. Good idea or waste of money?
