Looking to break into the broader healthcare industry from pharma consulting. Which non-pharma healthcare companies value pharma experience / don’t exclude it as part of healthcare experience? (Many companies want provider/payer experience). Targeting Senior Manager roles (5 YOE + MBA)
How to ask a startup to share their books with you. Being courted for Manager of S&O role, but don't want to be walking into a sinking ship.
Converted my summer at a low/mid BB in the ECM team, however now been offered an analyst role at a MM PE firm (~$1bn AUM). Although my team at the BB is far from prestigious I’m just looking to hear some other opinions before I accept the PE offer, one thing catching me off guard is that most of the IP come from non-MBB consulting backgrounds so I’m wondering if this is really a good exit. I’d be taking about a 10% pay cut compared to IB but progression to roles with carry is open.
Didn't have top grades, wasn't on law review. Worked at a midsize firm and was laid off in march-- have about 3 years experience in a hot practice area. Have been applying and had some interviews at larger shops but nothing has come of it. I'm still applying to roles (not many out there) in my area but coming to the realization based on number of larger firm rejection letter that I may not find a role. Where would you go from here if you were me? Was making good money at the midsize...

Which tech firms apart from Amazon are open to take people without prior product background as product managers? I’ve seen Amazon is pretty open via the Product manager non tech route. Anyone know of other firms that give new PMs a chance? (I’m asking for post MBA 2 year MBB consulting experience) McKinsey & Company Boston Consulting Group Bain & Company

Is it reasonable to ask how many hours people work at an in-house interview? I just don’t want to take an in-house job where I have to work as much as in big law but with less pay and not sure how else I’d find that out
Exploring the cyber security career field but I have a question: if this is your job and the company you work for gets hacked, do you get fired?
Anyone know the TC ranges for the Policy and Government Relations teams at FAANG? I usually see Manager roles but haven’t seen much in terms of comp. Think 10-12 years of consulting/tech policy/Hill staffer experience in a HCOL area. I know this question is pretty broad.
anyone here interview/work at Deloitte for customer and applied design? where do they fall within the company (i.e. Deloitte digital, monitor Deloitte). also curious about what interviews look like??
I joined the firm 1 year ago and i have been on the same project since then. I don’t feel that i’m learning anything valuable at this point. how do i approach the subject of rolling off and with whom?
I know M&A has a terrible rep, but if there’s anyone who enjoys it (or at least doesn’t completely hate it), could you please say what you like about the practice? Interviewing for an M&A position and really do want to love the job, at least for a year. FYI, I’m retooling from lit, and no, staying at my current firm isn’t an option.
Trying to exit into FAANG but know it may be a long shot involving a handful of rejections. Meanwhile got approached by a number of recruiters for a) smaller emerging startup <but need to shift geo>, and b) major banks for in-house strategy. I’ll proceed with interviews with a) since it will give me a flavour of tech recruiting, but should I even go through with interview process for b)? Thoughts? Fyi, have not interviewed in 4+ years!
Could use some 🐠 advice here! Two outstanding offers: - KPMG: Procurement Consulting Practice - Accenture: Business Intelligence Practice Both offers are comparable. What’s important to me: project variety, culture, growth, and wlb. I understand there are trade-offs, but which firm would be the best holistically. Any and all feedback is welcome!
I have a child who has been identified as a selective mute. Anyone have experience with this?
If it's not requested in the job announcement and it's not required to complete the form, do you have to submit your transcript when applying to MBB?
