Can someone please recommend some really good books or maybe anything that'll help me learn about easy finance( how to save and spend)? I am really bad at it and it's time for someone my age to start being smart.

Any advice or recommendation is welcome and appreciated.

Thank 🙏 you.

These are on my wishlist: The Soul of Money, Financial Adulting, and the 30-Day Money Cleanse.

I did recently listen to the YNAB book. I think it's better to use the software, build a budget, and read/watch some of the videos.

Also, as a woman, I like to follow women's advice because we live longer, have different expenses, and often get paid less. I follow Delyanne the Money Coach on IG, Millennial in Debt, Fiscal Femme, and Paula Pant (Afford Anything).

Guys ..
When will final settlement take place? What will be the components of it?

Hi guys. I have a query with regards to the Income tax proof submission.

So I have claimed exemptions on the following-
1) HRA
2) 5 year term deposit(fixed deposit) under Section 80C
3) Interest on education loan under Section 80E

I have also provided previous employment details.

Guys I didn't know that we have to submit declaration forms as well. Can you please tell me which are the declaration forms that I would need to fill and submit??

Thanks in advance :)

I just heard recently that if you refinance and your house appraises at 20% more than the amount owed, you can remove PMI. Is this correct? Getting a divorce and trying to keep the house but moving from a VA to a traditional loan and would rather not pay PMI if I don’t have to. House was purchased for $460k no money down (VA loan), refinanced at $450k to lower payments $400/month, now have $430k left on the loan... would it have to appraise for $516k?

Hi All!
This is my first post in Fishbowl, I'm looking for some genuine guidance on below query.

I have a total of 8.1 yrs of development experience in Java, Bigdata and Hadoop (new to it).
I got an offer from Capgemini for Manager/C2 designation with a CTC of 24 LPA. I just wanted to know the roles and responsibilities at this designation.
Will it be a profile shift from technical to managerial position or is just a designation (as per HR) the actual job would be to lead/guide any team?
Thanks
