What’s the best bonvoy hotel in LA to use suite night upgrades at?

Would a silver elite status on Marriott Bonvoy give one privileges to request a 5pm checkout ? I used to be able to do that with spg platinum.

So my spg points and nights have still not merged with my Marriott account. Anyone else having this issue?
