What specific skill are you trying to learn? PM is broad. Are you currently a PM? Looking to break into it?

Sorry all, I currently have about 5 years of experience as a PM in consulting life. Mainly focused on internal applications though. Would love to learn a bit about good design (would love to contribute more on the UX side when thinking about user ezperience) and also about how to prioritize and plan work at scale.

Continuous Discovery Habits

User friendly is a great place to start. It’s mostly the history of how user experience began and evolved!

Throwing myself into learning on the job with more Strategy gigs - but I still don’t feel like I quite know the lingo or best practices or theories.

I specialize in nonprofit tax and I’m trying to increase my knowledge in my complex or unusual nonprofits tax issues since I don’t get the exposure that much at work (international activities, private benefit, UBI, etc.). Does anyone have any books or CPEs that they recommend? Or courses that they took that went into detail on this? Most of what I find is more about NFP management skills then the more technical side of it.

I have previously been told I'm a different person at the office as i am out socially, which is why I am concerned about the transition

Hi all, I’m looking for ways to develop myself professionally. I would love recommendations or tips on how you continue education in your field to stay relevant and continue to learn about different marketing strategies. Any tips on really good conferences, programs, classes, books, would be so so appreciated. I’m currently a senior manager for local marketing activations on a planned path to become a director. I’m at the point that I start trembling every time I get an email alert. It’s the little things piling up that is getting to me. The to do list full of, “send emails to X about Y,” “follow-up re this,” “revise the 100 small things the baby lawyer drafted.” Tasks that might take 15 minutes to an hour individually, but all together it’s a lot. I’m the bottle neck. I’m the one who needs to move these things along. But there’s always something bigger and more urgent. Nothing’s ever FINISHED.
