Am I doing a mistake? Going from PwC to Accenture for $45K more (113 Vs 158), and a role that’s better aligned with what I was doing before joining & what I want to be doing? I joined PwC for the experience and the exit opportunity it can provide me in the future, but it’s hard not to accept this role from Accenture! Decision need to be made by end of this week….

Im in the final round of interviews at VMware and news came on Monday that they are being acquired by Broadcom. Is this something that I should be concerned about? I know layoffs can happen after a merger/acquisition but there’s not much overlap between the two companies (chipmaker vs cloud infrastructure). Moving to another country for grad school. Current firm has operations in the region, but my practice has no presence, so transferring is not an option. Due to visa status, I’m not eligible to work in the country. Thought is to secure a remote position with a company here in the states that is flexible regarding working hours; there is an 8-hour time difference. Has anyone experienced this? Late night thoughts - I cannot figure out when to throw in the towel on consulting. I just switched to a Big 4 role two weeks ago and I feel like my stress has shot up significantly. I hate traveling for work and I want a role with good WLB. I know two weeks is nothing and I feel like a failure for giving up so easily but I feel I'm just not made out for this kind of life. I applied to all three MBB firms via their careers page with no referral. I have my final round with McKinsey, rejected by Boston, and no reply from Bain. Any thoughts on how to verify if I’ve been rejected by Bain even though the portal says it’s still pending for 2 months?
