I have an offer to a commercial real estate company in hand. My current brokerage (residential focus) wants me to pay $3000 penalty since I’m breaking the contract and leaving. I’m financially struggling and 3k is a big number to pay now. The new job will be paying me $2000/month up until the first year only. Is it wise to pay or stick around in residential sales just to avoid that penalty?

How much do you work out a week to cut? I was reading a bunch of articles that said 6x/week (3x weight, 3x cardio). Pre-covid I did 5-7x/week and wasn’t seeing great results. During lockdown to pre-cutting, I did 2-4x + walks/hikes on weekends. I find by workout day 5/6, my body feels so fatigued, I either skip or switch out a weight day and do restorative yoga/another LIDL cardio day instead. Today was my 6th workout (jumprope tabata) and I could barely do it which then just feels pointless.

Although summer vacation is about over for some of us, what do you do as summer jobs (to get by when school is out)?

Second year associate here with, I would say, less than average experience due to the business slug in 2020. I'm really struggling with efficiency in drafting. I spend hours on drawings and figure numbers and revisions even when I try my hardest at the onset to make things easy and clear. I also hate that I essentially have to be an "artist" at times for drawings even when I work with a drafter that costs minimum $1k. Any tips?

When people add percents to their resume, where are they pulling the numbers out of? Like for example reduced costs by $xxx,xxx , or improved performance by 20%, or increased revenue by 15%? If you’re just fixing tickets and working on product feature enhancements (what I’m primarily doing), where do you get the numbers to put on your resume from? Hi, would like to get your feedback and guidance. Within the brokerage industry we see a lot of people holding titles of AVP, VP, SVP and EVP. Can someone help me understand the criteria for each and if there is a salary range? Where do you think an individual with a B.S in a technical field, a M.S, licensed broker and with 18 years of combined experience in underwriting, risk management and brokerage should be at if working for a global broker?
