Struggling with my immediate family not accepting my SO. It’s been 1.5 years and theyre still not willing to meet him. It’s difficult because I come from a culture where family is important, and I grew up in a loving home so finding it hard that I am making them unhappy - they are depressed and keep showing me how unhappy they are (even though we don’t live in same country).
