Can someone share experience with Citibank benefits, PTO, medical and 401k and retirement

I recently received the offer from JP could you please tell me what will the the benefits which we get other then compensation and what will be the minimum hike usually people gets here?

I have a dumb question - I’m new to investing and finances so please be kind. I Just paid off my debt. If I contribute the 20K to a company 401k and my employer match is 50%, does the employer contribution count in the max amount allowed! Meaning will my contributions +the amount my employer matches push me over the allowed amount?

Benefits of traveling to an all business area this week. Four Seasons priced like a n normal business hotel. Never got why pricing was so outrageous but it is in a totally different league.

We have a fixed PTO time plan (very generous) but leftover rates by now are enormous. It’s gonna be about 160 hours of unused PTO per employee in the end of the year, and we only rollover 80. We thought about rolling over everything, but then accruals get too high. Does anyone have creative ideas how we can roll over excessive hours and don’t make them wages at the same time...

European in the US here. My plan is to eventually go back to Europe. I am wondering how 401k would work tax wise for withdrawal. If I am not a tax resident, I assume taxes would need to be paid where I am a resident right? Would US make me pay taxes on that money? Would you switch careers for a 2nd time? So…..my director has been in the position for a little over a year. We’ve been working our tails off and last quarter were informed of no bonuses. I understand that business is down and need to save money. The straw for us was a company holiday party. They completely forgot to have one and now taking us to a bar for drinks and appetizers. Someone asked if that includes a dinner and they said no. The optics is just so bad. Any advice? Really rethinking my current situation and need to reevaluate.

I took some time off after maternity leave and have since picked up some (very lucrative) freelance projects while job hunting. I’m now considering doing freelance for at least the next year to see how it pans out. I have a job offer in hand for another start up but I know I can make more as a freelancer. Would you take the sure thing or bet on yourself and see what you can do as a freelancer for the next year (or more). I’d only have to work about 18 wks as a freelancer to hit full time offer $

Received a verbal offer from a recruiter congratulating me on clearing the final round. However did not receive a written offer or what the TC package would look like. They have started the right to work checks and the investments / pension plan declaration. Is this normal? Should I send across any documents or wait for the written offer to come through (not even sure if the terms offered would be favourable!!)?

Anyone faced a similar situation / have any advice on how to proceed? Thanks!

The drug driving laws are pretty harsh and they use these sensitive saliva swab tests. Trace amounts of thc can be picked up days to weeks later after consuming sometimes. I don't drive often, but I'm worried this is something I'd have to report to my bar if it were to happen.

Thoughts on CAIA? Difficulty, hours studied, study tips, overall experiences, etc.? I’ll be sitting for Level 1 in September. Currently work in the fund of funds space - moving over to my firm’s hedge fund research team soon so CAIA seemed like a perfect way to get knowledge in the area beforehand. If banks had the same culture as large tech companies (think Google), how would it affect the game?

Debating on whether to get an MBA or not, and if so, what kind? Seeing a lot of 1-year programs that are reasonably priced. Some of the same schools offer a 2-year. Why would I go with one vs the other unless I’m interested in a specific concentration? 6 YOE and lead a team that does asset management and lending for student housing.
