Can someone share how much can a AM get in Assurance practice?

3rd year in Big Law. In the final round of an interview where the total comp is still well over 200k. My firm doesn’t pay market now so it’s not a huge cut. I’m trying to think of reasons why I wouldn’t want the job. Any insights? I can’t tell if it’s just a general fear of leaving my firm in the lurch (even though it’s to a client)

Good evening. I am currently a physical therapist, but burn out is coming on hard. I am thinking of getting out of the profession but do t k ow what I can transfer to woth my knowledge base without a drastic pay cut or have g to start from the bottom and work my way up. I ha e a wife and kid and looking for a little extra inco.e as well as get away from the patient care aspect. Any reccomendations of a career switch? Anyone done it? Have 2 offers on the board that I am trying to decide between currently and would appreciate some opinions.

125k base, 500k equity/vested over 4 years
20k signing bonus, 10% year end bonus

I am heavily leaning towards Spotify right now due to it being remote and because StubHub is not public so worried about the rsus decreasing in value. Thoughts?

I’m going to be making an exit soon to a company that’s working hard to recruit me in. I’m in an AE position. I’d be forfeiting $18k in RSUs vesting, President’s club, and $200k+ in pipeline if I do move. I’m inclined to leave because this would be a step up in a role and I really like the team.

My question is: is it reasonable to ask for a $40k sign on bonus to account for what I’m leaving here? How do you go about negotiating that?
