Towards the end of 2021 I renegotiated my comp package as part of a counter-offer to retain me. From what I’ve gathered the new salary put me well in the bracket for the management level above my current band. I’m now going through a promotion process but curious if I should expect any additional salary increases as I’ve already had this salary increase recently? I’m expecting there to at least be a small increase (maybe £2-3K), whereas most promotions see a £8-10K increase. Thoughts?

I work in tax and with TCJA and CARES (extra work) and not enough resources (not hiring, people were still quitting, and layoffs). Also with blurred lines of work/home since covid, I’m at my computer from wake up to bed time, usually midnight. I have always had stress, but that has recently escalated to full blown anxiety.
