Can someone who is say an EM at MBB with only 3 years WOE out of undergrad realistically get an equivalent senior role in industry (where there is set progression)? Eg could they enter as a VP/ director in a strategy role at a bulge bracket IB? I always find it odd how quickly MBB promotes vs most other companies and wonder how this translates into exit opportunities where tenure is important
