Entertaining for sure... Safe bet that all the things women consultants say they they don't like about male consultants are probably the same things that their non-consultants male dates say about female consultants (overly cocky, overly confident, etc)
OP- being intentional means letting us females know where you stand so we aren't left guessing with these questions.. What is this relationship? What are your intentions? It's asking us out on a date and calling it a date instead of "hanging out". Letting us know if you are interested after the date goes well, "I had an awesome time and want to do this again. I will call you later this week" and actually following through. It's not playing games cause nobody has time for that.
Calling your own personality just "decent"
#1 Never knowing how to switch out of consultant mode. #2 Also being too confident it comes off as conceited. You're not on client site, you don't need to have an answer/point/be right for everything. See #1.
I'm currently on the couch eating multigrain scoops Tostitos chips (you know, the ones where you can scoop up the salsa, like a spoon) #husbandmaterial
Being emotionally unavailable.
Don't be overconfident and arrogant. Turnoff. Have more fun and don't try to undermine me.
Husband material Husband material Husband material Husband material Husband material. Whatcha GONEEE do!?
I second Deloitte 4 - be intentional. Also, we know you're smart and accomplished so be humble.
Can we start collectively referring to ourselves as the Consultanta?
Low commitment. Too many professional guys these days can shop around and us business girls "ain't got time for that"
I just need an attractive MAN. Tired of the boys.
Not the one to boast about myself 😉
Being in consulting doesn't mean you are smarter than anyone else. Stop bragging. Also, stop associate everything possible to consulting or your great company that you are/maybe very proud of.
@McK1: I thought the collective noun for consultants was "deck". As in, a deck of consultants.
^also just try not calling yourself husband material... Another good place to start.
Back off @Deloitte5. This one is mine
This went way off track
@PwC1, a tip: you only get to call yourself "husband material" if prior to the hashtag you promise to save some chips and guacamole for you me lady. It's all about sharing and being thoughtful.
Basically they want you tamed.
@C It's about the way you show respect to your SO. You can value them but still treat them like shit.
