About 6 months in as an associate in a B4 deals group and I feel like I’ve learned next to nothing aside from doing admin type work and formatting decks. My deals knowledge has hardly improved, if at all. Is this normal?
Senior up for promo to manager in audit in next year. Have decided I do not want to be an auditor. Which of these paths do you think is best?
1. Stay 1 more year, exit to industry with manager title.
2. Move to advisory internally, but most likely would have to do one more year in audit and move as audit manager to advisory sr
3. Exit immediately into industry to try for accounting manager title / senior accountant or sr fin analyst
4. Exit immediately to advisory senior at another big 4 firm
Currently S1 in cyber risk/compliance making ~90k in MCOL. Looking for new, but similar role with around 30% pay bump(~120k). Am I crazy to consider leaving big 4 so early in my career? Any recommendations?
Im too pissed from deloitte policy that they don't offer green card sponsorship to pending asylum applicants, however it's acceptable as per USCIS regulations. The internal policy also refers that exceptions may be granted, but no criteria stated. I just received a rejection to my sponsorship request and really considering moving to another company that can process my request. Anyone knows which other big 4/ companies allowing it?

Please share your thoughts on what to do : got a decent offer from company A, $18k over my current pay. Have fast track interview tomorrow with company B. Expect similar package as company A. Will go out of country for vacation for two weeks, company C (big 4) is scheduling interviews in 2 weeks. Just had initial talk with Company D recruiter this morning. Role at A/B/D are senior tech roles while company C is a senior manager role. TBC below.

Hey all. I am an Associate with 1.5 yoe and i kinda just need inspiration. I work in tech at b4 and I am pretty miserable just with the work, not even the hours or stress or anything. I really just need help in knowing what’s out there. I work in appian and others and am technical but not a super good coder. I don’t even know what’s out there.
