Google Application Tips?
Team - I have been applying to numerous roles at google for the past several months, with no success despite referrals. There are roles where my resume literally describes each bullet in the role requirement, yet no luck. Am I missing something? Are there things that folks have tried that have worked for getting google interviews?

Ebay PMs - figure out a way to stop the classic scam of someone buying an item and telling the seller to text them with questions about the product. They have no intention of paying and it’s a scam. If you get an ML engine hooked up to detect these kinds of messages, you could block them automatically and relist the item. The last three times I’ve sold something this same thing happened, all from different buyers with messages that only differed by a few words. Easy solve for this.

Personality aside, I think a private company in space is pretty significant. I can’t think of any previous occasion where something like starlink was crucial to a war effort.
Electric car existed before. But again, Tesla led the way in adoption and infrastructure.
So again, personality aside, I would say he had an impact
Musk is just weird, what he's doing to Twitter employees is downright shameful. I had a chance to work at Tesla, said no. I do own a Tesla and own shares. So I'll buy his product, but he shouldn't have as much influence on the world as he does. I guess that's what being the richest man in the world gets you (or is that Gates or Bezos?). I saw him at the cyber product announcement, he's undoubtedly the most awkward speaker I've ever seen. Cringe worthy.
The man has like 13 kids with different mothers and names them x, y, or xy4 and names with mostly consonants - buy a vowel dude.

Why are you so mad?
PD1 nah not jealous :) I am sad that you would think that though. The capitist indivisualism has really brainwashed people in US it seems.
Space X is an important company, but private companies have had much greater positive impacts in conflict zones than something like starlink. It’s important to remember that Soace x is not the only aero space company out there, but what they’re doing w rockets is nonetheless meaningful.
That said, I think there’s an argument that despite Tesla and Space X, Elon had not fundamentally changed the world the way Jobs did, or even on the scale of a Zuckerberg or Dorsey or even TK w Uber.
And then he’s been invisible philanthropically. Someone like Bill Gates is far more important to humanity than is Elon Musk.
Strong possibility that Nikola Tesla would hate Elon lol
May be controversial but his Asperger’s is something to consider but also empathize with. SpaceX and Tesla (and PayPal) are good contributions, and his aggressive leadership style is probably not much different to many other CEOs, not that it’s ok. However owning a social media company while having a social disability might prove more challenging for Elon than he is anticipating.
