Can we call in a sick leave any day we want? As long as no deliverables pending?

That’s wrong. You can take it even if deliverables pending. Best day to take it.

Not allowed to be sick. Policy 7-52 paragraph B section IV

Oh I get it EY1. Apologies, I’m slow today.

There are specific rules banning illnesses when there are deliverables

As long as you ARE sick, you can take it any day

OP in case you need any more convincing, the people you work with will not want you to come in if you're sick because then you might get them sick too. Option 1 is to work from home if you're feeling sick and contagious. Option 2 is to take the day off and rest. If there are real deadlines (e.g. to a client and not an arbitrary deadline to someone internal), you'll probably be expected to work from home unless you're really sick, need to go to the doctor, and you can't focus because you're feeling so crappy.

like

@EY1 there actually isn’t, it’s something higher ups say to scare you. I’ve looked into it before. Saying no sick days if you’re sick is asking to be sued

I have to travel to my client every week and the client’s office is attached to a very nice hotel that’s $250 per night. There’s a hotel right across the street that’s $150 per night.. it’s alright, but not as great. Hi Fishes,
I had given interview for network security architect position in Feb last week. And as per recruiter, I got selected for that role. I have been asked to share the documents on March 1st. I did a few followup for the offer letter update and they asked me 2 wait for 2-3 weeks. And now they are saying position has gone on hold after I did another followup.
Could it be because of expected salary ?

Firms should really start lowering the mandatory retirement age in partnership agreements before these old out of touch partners drive the entire industry into the ground.
