Can we go into Deloitte offices internationally to hotel an office for meeting prep/borrow a laptop charger? Mine won't work for some reason and I'm out of country for client meeting.

Yes. You need a Deloitte pass or an ID and your employee number.

I went ahead and reached out. They will be able to accommodate me. Sometimes this company is pretty cool!

Yes

Yes but they prob won't have one for you, internationally they use Lenovo.

Note: your Deloitte badge may not actually work to get you into all the international offices. My US badge works in SG but not in HK.

like

Cool. Got my employee badge with me

Yep but each country provisions staff with different laptops. Hopefully IT can hook you up

Darn. Well I'll probably go check it out and prep for my meeting anyways. Thanks for the input.

Some offices have finicky badge access by elevators since they are shared locations. If your badge doesn't work just head to the security desk and they'll give you an actual building pass.

Thoughts?

Hi Tax Bowlers, I'm an experienced associate (2yrs) in a Big 4 Transfer Pricing division. I have reached a point in my career where I am considering taking up a professional certification. What would you guys suggest? Would it be detrimental to my career if I did not take up any certifications?
