Should I keep my new job or boomerang back to my old job? The new job pays 50K more base, 25K more bonus and I get 40K a year consulting for the old job so around 115K difference in cash (not counting equity).

So why even consider going back to the old job? The new job keeps me busy 12+ hours a day while the old job is a coast at 1-2 hours a day max.

I am working in Softtek from 2.8 yrs , now I want to switch but even now my background Qualification of being Mechanical Engineer gets in the way for most companies as that's the basic criteria as BE in IT, computer science or related feild and CV gets rejected in screening all the time .

I accepted a base salary of $60k as a first year associate and to expect an end of year bonus based on the settlement of my partner’s cases that I work on substantially. The bonus was only $2500 and I got a base pay raise that still doesn’t bring me into the lower 25% of the market rate. Feeling really undervalued and not sure if this is normal in “plaintiffs world”

Had a recent job offer from Amazon TC 146 K sign on bonus 42K RSU 508 for a L6 Sr. Program manager based out of Nashville. This is barely more than the amount I make now(actually base is lower than what I make). I’m planning to ask for about 18% more, is that a high number? EY GDS enterprise risk has rolled out three return to office surveys. I have said no to all of them. Some of the managers/SM are dying to make us come back to work so that they can do their policing.
I don't see a reason to come to office when I can do stuff from home. Anyhow I end up working till 12, can't spend more time on cabs.
