Received an offer to lateral to a big firm. The benefits package includes health, dental, disability etc. but no mention of their parental leave policy. I don’t recall my current job spelling that out either in my offer. Im not planning on having kids in the immediate future but I am curious of the policy at the new firm. Fair question to ask or will it scare them if I do?
With less travel happening, and more people spending time wfh than office, has anyone really invested in a good home office setup? I have the extra space and want to create a productive setup. Would love to hear your advice/ input. Thanks! 🙏
Hello fishes, I recently joined here. Could you please help me on the useful benefits or any other that we shouldn't miss availing in Oracle( ex:- medi claims, domiciliary wallet, meal cards ,stocks, expense reimbursement). Also please guide me on the options available for investment declarations to save tax. Also say if we will get yearly hikes. Read that there wouldn't be any hike at all in all of the reviews.
Sooo my nanny fell asleep holding the baby. My husband and I work from home. So, he walked in, saw them and put the baby in the crib. Ask: Any advice on how to address this with the nanny? Also, it it a fire able offense? Context: Nanny started full time on 1/24; baby is not quite 5 months old; we are WFH and have cameras installed that are visible (she should know they exist); first time having a nanny
Looking for strong PR AS candidates to work on CPG brand! Chicago office, but WFH and flexible location. Let me if you're interested and we can talk more!
Interviewed for an in-house position. I was told that the position was remote through the majority of next year, but they would eventually like someone on site. Definitely understandable, of course! However, there seemed to be some flexibility here as some employees will remain remote indefinitely. I am interested in working remotely and flying out as needed, etc. Any room for negotiation? If so, at what point do I bring it up in the interview process?

Starting a new job next month which will be four days/week in the office after being remote during the entire pandemic, then just having a baby this year. Hi there, I am a Global Director of Talent Acquisition with a growing team in North America. We are looking to hire an additional 5 Talent Acquisition Partners (Montreal, QC, Halifax, NS, Fort Wayne, IN, and two completely remote roles in the US). Anyone interested in having an exploratory conversation? Perhaps you or someone you know would be interested? Thank you, Crystal
Have any firms begun allowing permanent remote work since the pandemic? My firm has historically been proud of its office-based culture but I’ve been pushing for WFH and would love to hear of some examples. Mostly so I can move to a LCOL area closer to family while still keeping my job that I enjoy.
Has anyone here permanently moved to a lower COL area during COVID? If yes, where did you move from/to and did you have to take any sort of salary adjustment? Curious about how companies are handling this in our new remote working world....
Hi All, I think we all know that it's a hot market right now and I'm not actively looking but I take a recruiter call here and there. I'd love to share my experience and background and the salary ranges I have seen the last month or so. I have not gotten to an offer but I might be getting close. My background: 6 years as a CSM, multiple unicorn startups prior to where I am now. I'm based in the Midwest and fully remote. I have been asking for a $140k-$150k base + 20% and equity. Thoughts?
Considering a role in Citi advertised as being in Charlotte NC. Is Citi largely remote or will the expectation be to move?
Watering day as an excuse to get a group picture 🌱💚
There’s a lot of type A career driven people here. Do y’all have trouble dating/finding someone similarly motivated in general? Would you date a waiter with no other aspirations in life?

You CAN be that leader that people want to work with. 1st, self assessment is required. Be honest: As a leader, have you engaged in/accepted Attribution Bias with a dash of gender &/or race bias? (See the pic) This is something we all need to be aware of as we lead our teams, provide performance feedback, & model the behaviors we'd like to see more of on our teams. Be on the lookout for Attribution Bias in yourself & on your team. It's a hindrance to creating a high-performing, inclusive culture.
Anyone here aware of Performant Financial? How much would Director level salaries be over there? Can I expect it to land at 300K at least?
