I would appreciate any insight on management-side employment law in Dallas. I am a MLA at a large firm in LA pondering a move for financial/family reasons, but it doesn't seem like there are many open positions in DFW and I'm wondering if this area of the law is just not robust in Texas.

COVID halted living out of suite case and allowed dinner at home with family. Discovering what my life should have been. With rapid vaccination, I cringe at the thought of meaningless nights on the road again. 1. Analyst for 10 months (low pay; took the job in mega Covid as all other hiring stopped)
2. Analyst 18 months (tech company, good experience, 15k more per year, small/can’t promote me yet)

-Recruiters reached out with senior analyst roles so I interviewed just to see (really like a few, 20-30k base salary increase, awesome benefits, promotion, good culture/reviews)

Looking to sublease my 1 bedroom apartment at Nema San Francisco for the month of May. The unit is on the 22nd floor with amazing views of the city. Original rent is $4300 but willing to give away for $2000 for the month. If anyone is interested or has any leads please dm me.

Just got promoted to audit senior, but can’t imagine doing another busy season. I have some forensics internship experience from college and always wanted to pivot to forensics. It sounds like the firm is working mostly on COVID stuff these days, but I’m more interested in doing investigations work. If I transfer and have no choice but to work on insurance/claims, would it be better to stay in auditing? Is the insurance/claims work demanding/difficult intellectually wise?
