My wife worked in a pharmaceutical manufacturing industry as a QA Officer. Due to maternity complication she took approx. 2 years gap for her career. Meanwhile she learned few courses like PV, CDM, Clinical Research.
Here my question, now she want to start her career again with her new skills in CDM, PV.
1. Which one will have growth CDM or PV?
2. Does they consider earlier experience because she had a gap.?

My first switch. I got an offer from KPMG India. I accepted that and after that I got an offer from Deloitte India. I didn't show the offer to Deloitte. Deloitte is giving a bit more extra in fixed part like 50K. Now I want to join Deloitte. Don't want KPMG to match or give more. But as I accepted the offer already I am thinking what would be the impact in future if I think to join KPMG someday.

I start my new job, tomorrow, as the “Client Relationship Leader” of a very large design fabrication company. I will have to abandon my Mac/Adobe creative suite upbringing and learn the PC platform for Corel (🤮), sketchup and some other 3D software. Normally and historically, this would be a deal breaker- as these programs run fine on a Mac- has anyone had to switch and how what we’re the biggest hurdles? I get on a PC and get so frustrated not being able to do what I want to do.

Any litigators who prefer litigating over clerking, or the other way around? I’m senior at a major appellant-side litigation firm. My boss has told me that there is a clerkship opening with a federal judge that I admire, and with his rec I would be a shoe-in. I like litigation and the opps it provides to drive change in the law, but this opp could open up some doors and give work life balance. On the other hand, I don’t know if clerking might be boring, or frustrating reading bad briefs. Thx!

I had a problem concentrating on one task, reading for more than 5 mins, and just staying on track overall with work. I was okay in college, but I did poorly in law school bc of the my inability to focus and I started to feel that way since becoming licensed. I took a vyvanse yesterday and my productivity increased ten fold. I’ve always wanted to avoid medication and did so, but I feel like I need to look into getting prescribed. Has anyone had similar experience? I know, big topic w/ lawyers.

Tips/advice on resigning from a toxic firm? I know that when I give my 2 weeks it’s going to be extremely awkward and I’m not sure the response I will get. Some guidance from those who have been in my position would be nice.
