You’re on PTO....if it’s not for client or even firm work, you can’t charge it....because we charge through relevant expenses incurred to deliver on a specific internal or external engagement.
Also, there is a bowl for firm specific questions ;)
A few clarifications: 1. OP check out policy 8.0.1. Only partners can charge for lounge access. You charged on PTO, which isn’t even related to travel with the firm. If you don’t have a diners club account online yet, I suggest signing up and paying it out of pocket ASAP. It’s totally fine, it happens sometimes with expenses. Not a big deal. While you are there, make sure to sign up for the Diner’s club points program which is pretty good for Amazon gift cards.
2. One of the perks of the diner’s club card is FREE access to any lounge associated with “priority pass”. You can use this any time, client travel or personal. I’ve used it before no issues. You just present your card, say you have free access, they swipe your card and have you sign a form (but it doesn’t charge your card anything). Look online to see what lounges are available.
3. For all others, Diner’s club is the firm’s corporate card, but it’s actually a regular MasterCard. Again, it’s not a traditional Diner’s Club charge card, just a regular credit card serviced by Diner’s. Capeesh?
Stop being stingy. Are you offshore?
Kpmg1 - I thought that was one of the firms perk
Who has a diners card these days?! It’s probably a guy working in a strip mall running their support...
Pay it out of your own pocket. No need to report it since it is personal
Get a real credit card, not that bullshit diners
Do you mean a priority pass lounge? You should get into that for free. Any other lounge, you probably shouldn't be expensing that even during client site travel to knowledge
SC1 It's KPMGs corporate card 🙄
Did you bring a guest with you to the lounge? You get charged for any guest in your party who is not a Diner card holder. If it was just you, I would call Diner to reverse the charge.
