You don’t need to know how to code to be a product manager. This is true for most companies but you may find a small handful that call out that it is a requirement. You will need to learn more about tech though, it would be helpful to learn what kind of people you’ll be working with and what they do. For example you should know the difference between a backend and front end engineer, and it would be helpful to know how a data scientist can help a product a manager.

It depends. A PM’s responsibilities vary by organization. Here is a chart that shows skill sets.

Has anyone used United Wholesale Mortgage? I saw they had bad reviews but they offered me a 5.99 rate. I have another rate for 6.125 from a local mortgage place that has stellar reviews though. The 5.99 rate is charging me more for upfront closing costs though (about $6k more) and it’s not buying points. It’s different fees.

What’s the best way to include a new role on your resume that does not begin until next summer? I’m asking this because IB recruitment is in the spring, and I thought it would be meaningful to include it. I am mainly curious about the bullet points. Would it be valid to not have any or to just have one that says something like “Accepted offer on Nov”?
