Even Taiwan is fine, I’m headed there (and Japan, which has a similar level of risk) right now.

Depends. Are you going to Wuhan? If so yes. One could make the same argument if you’re worried about malaria infection or geopolitical risks. No chance to get out if you’re going to Wisconsin.

I don’t think you’d be justified in declining the whole project, but could be reasonable to refuse travel until things wind down.
If I’m asked to travel to China (not Wuhan, anywhere), I’ll decline. Anywhere else doesn’t have travel restrictions and my passport is valid, so it’s hard to argue against...
Bringing this back up - Endpoints did a really good article today summarizing just how many unknowns there still are - this has the potential to be very serious
