In house/corporate paralegals: how did you get your start? Have you been in house since day 1? Particularly interested to hear from those who made the switch from litigation in a law firm. This is a question which I'm curious about people's thoughts. Mostly reflecting on the past since I'm way too far in audit to make a career change. Did I make a mistake by not trying for law school? I took the LSAT when I was a first year associate and got a 168. At this point, the score expired and would need to retake. I know law is riskier than audit. Having a tough time getting a Product Manager interview. I have 3.5 YOE in technology implementations for a startup (my client). Recently, i was "promoted" or, I should say, my title was changed to the next ring up the ladder. As a part of this, I went from reporting to Senior Management, to Junior Management. The Jr. Manager has good intentions, but, is not helpful. I've worked at the company longer, have accomplished more across multiple lines of business and have a much stronger internal network. Am I overreacting thinking this is a major slight that will ultimately slow down my growth within the company?
