How to raise request for project change?

I was placed on a PIP due to a project where the client didn’t like our work and from there I crushed the PIP and got off of it with no issues. Unfortunately, I was told my work was great and people gave great feedback but I still was placed on it anyway. What’s the consensus on tattoos in the insurance workplace? I’m in leadership and considering exploring my options due to recent personnel changes.
