I was laid off during Deloitte‘s mass layoff in July of last year. I have worked as an independent contractor since and projects haven’t been consistent at the client I’m working for. I’m looking to get back into a big firm and was seeing if anyone would be able to refer me or help get my foot in the door. I was a business analyst for 1.5 years at Deloitte and have several years of additional experience which I’d be more than happy to share.

Designed and deployed, Planogram for one of the clients by creating an end-to-end pipeline for data loading, feature engineering, and automation through Jenkins
Successfully managed to release the "Sales forecast" project to two clients.

Sexism is 100% a reason to be reassigned.
I think you can, though I’d be careful if you’re a junior still building a reputation and in any event would make sure you have a very good reason beyond just clients being rude or difficult, which is part of the job description
Blatant sexism and a complete lack of faith in an attorney due entirely to that persons gender is a very good reason. Period.
What a difficult situation. My first thought is to not make “too much noise” if you’re junior and like the first poster said.. building a reputation. Although that’s giving that lame person what he wants. IMO, it is frustrating what he said and a partner who is a great leader should stand up for you and say something (respectfully and cordially, of course).
I think my partners would fire a client like that.
I think rather than ask to not work with the client you should let the partner know the situation and ask for advice on how to handle. Ideally the partner will show strong leadership and either fire the client, call them out on their behavior, or do something else. If the partner is dismissive of your concerns then you know the problem is not just with the client.
