Can you sue an airline if the flight attendant was not wearing mask for a considerable amount of time during the flight?

You can sue anyone for anything. Whether you’ll be successful is another story.
- Was there harm? Ie Are you sick because of it?
- Does your contract of carriage include a hold harmless clause? Or mandate arbitration?

likesmart

No.

like

Do you have standing? You need to show you were harmed in some fashion or form.

like

You can file a complaint for starters.

A lawsuit just shows you are a greedy little 😶😶😶

like

Yes. Following through on frivolous ones, however, serves the purpose of enriching lawyers.

Well, Delta clearly has been asking passengers to wear masks and mandating it. I chose to fly Delta because I assumed they are taking precautions. But now their own staff is behaving weird.

If it’s delta you probably could’ve gotten then fa fired.

Probably, but not once the Senate forces liability protections into the next relief package.

Can you prove you suffered damages due to the neglect?

You can’t suffer damages. You are awarded damages for harm suffered.

Complain and try to get a voucher for a free ticket. That would put me on edge too. It’s one thing when the attendant is away from passengers while seated, but I’d expect someone interacting me to show me the same courtesy I’m showing them.

Perhaps this person had a health issue that prevents them from wearing a mask. This sounds super dramatic.

You can sue anyone you want. You probably won’t win

Question for fellow attorneys:

I applied to a credit card with Chase a few months ago and within 7 days I was told it was rejected and they would send a letter explaining why.

Chase has recently calling to say it expired (they said it wasn’t rejected but I was told on the recorded line that it was).

Isn’t this against the law (fair credit reporting act)?. I’m not a lawyer so I’d love to hear your thoughts

Has anyone here negotiated dog care expenses while traveling for work? I am single, live alone, and have two dogs and it’s not cheap to board them or have a sitter when I travel ($100/day). Asking friends to take care of them isn’t a long term solution for a job with 25% travel. Any tips for how to bring this up and ask for this to be covered contractually?
