Canadian citizen applying to MBB. Can I apply to US offices on the basis of applying for a TN visa myself? Or should I stick to Canadian offices?

I graduated with a data science degree. After about 5 months of applying for Data Scientist and SDE roles, I got a QA engineer offer. Although my goal is to become a Data Scientist, due to immigration constraints I am not willing to take the risk and keep searching especially in today’s market. I want to know if QA experience will be helpful to switch careers after a year or two? Will I have to start from scratch and search for entry level jobs again?

Would you rather a strategy and ops role at FAANG or MBB?

How do I break into CTA or CRC positions? I'm currently a medical scribe but I have 3 years of risk analyst/business development experience in the finance industry prior to this job. I've been applying to many positions and have gotten 2 interviews in the past month and a half. I have a GCP certification from NIDA and have been learning about the industry for a year now. What else should I know in order to increase my chances?

Have an offer from one of the two big credit card schemes in their business dev department - I am an experienced consulting manager - would be “‘manager” considered as an “equal rank” or a step down?

I know that Google often lowballs nowadays unless you can show a competing offer, preferably from another FAANG. I am in the middle of interviews at Google and a recruiter from Facebook reached out. Trying to decide if I should try and get an offer from them for leverage. Does anyone know whether Facebook will send over the offer in email form before I verbally accept? I know some companies refuse to put anything in writing unless you verbally accept.

The role is technical strategy which I guess comes under SAP so the SAP team will be taking the interview for Toronto location.
The interview will have 30 minutes behavioural interview questions and 30 minutes case study.
