I take care of my adult autistic brother. He tends to interrupt my meetings 2 or 3 times a week. I graduated with my MBA in finance in 2020 and began working at a bank as a Management Trainee. 2 years later, I am an assistant to a financial advisor studying to become a financial advisor. However, I have to do this on MY time and not the bank's.
I am not in a Management position, I make as much as a teacher in a good district and I just don't feel my overall self worth at this job. Does anyone have any advice that can help this situation?

I accepted a $115K base salary, 13% bonus, 10k sign on bonus (scientist supervisor) job and two weeks later, got a $135K base, 17% bonus, and 15K sign on bonus (Senior scientist role) offer from another company. Should I accept the new offer ? How do I tell the previous company about this? Also, I’ve already negotiated with the first company and the $115K base is the negotiated salary. I really do not prefer one company over the other. They’re both great! I’m very confused here. TIA🙏

I have a question regarding switching jobs while on H1B. I have an offer with a start date on Jan 1st. I am thinking of resigning at my current firm on December 1st. Are there any ways through which I can make the 30 days in between Dec 1st and Jan 1st not count towards my 60 day H1B grace period?

Is my bar too high in this day and age if I want guys to at least ask me out in person instead of reaching out on social media having never met me in person before? I just like when you have the guts to approach me in person instead of hiding behind a keyboard, or start with wanting to get to know me and not coming on too strong if we've never met.
