How much value do you guys put into benefits. I have two offers but the benefits situation makes it more difficult to choose. Job 1: role that I wanted, but benefits are not very competitive (paternity leave is 2 weeks, coinsurance at 20%). Job 2: role I’m more qualified for but don’t really like, but benefits are very good (16 weeks paternity, 0% coinsurance, 5 more days of vacation) and coming in at higher level. What other considerations would you have?
