Can’t lie doing Monday WFH massively reduces that Sunday evening pre-work anxiety. The knowledge that I can wake up at 8am, have breakfast, shower and put washing on and be at my desk 8.50am

How many PM’s here are full-time remote? (pre-covid). Do you think the tech industry, and the PM role specifically, will evolve to become more available as virtual?

I’ve found that I really enjoy working from home and would love to have access to opportunities with companies outside of my immediate area

Question about remote job negotiations

I'm currently interviewing for a remote role for a company based in NY.

The thing is I'm based in a different city (southern U.S.)

My question is:

When it comes time to talk compensation, should I base the market rate for the role on my city of residence or NY?

Would it make sense to ask them directly how they determine comp for NY-bases vs. other city-based employees?

I've transferred my PF from Wipro to Cognizant where in it the Employee's PF shows around 83k but the Employer's PF shows only around 27k.

If the employee and employer have to contribute 12% then both should be equal to 83k isn't it?

Hi all, I’m currently a year into a role at a top tier firm. Team and WLB are great but growth prospects are unclear and not a sector of long term interest. My manager hasn’t been able to articulate his medium term vision and how my role fits into that and doesn’t seem concerned that I’m overqualified for the support nature of my role. I’m making it to offer stages for other roles offering me over 30% more than I currently earn and with very strong prospects. Am I being to hasty in wanting out?
