Can’t seem to get many interviews- anyone have suggestions for a resume writer? Or any tips on how to stand out on paper?

Hi All, I have TCS offer but my joining date is after 45 days but I have started receiving calls for interview from different projects. Is it normal to receive the project interview call even before joining the project? I'm confused, as usually we give project interview after joining company. Please confirm.

I somehow managed to clear the interview and bagged an offer in a emerging product based company but now I'm scared 😕😕. This is a new technology that I learnt and no hands on also... Will I be thrown away post joining once they find out..... My YOE 4. Is it safe to look for a service based itself😢😢

Had an interview today and was asked what my current salary is and what is the range i am looking for. I managed to avoid answering by asking in return what is their budget. The recruiter stated 65k-85k and my idiot self stated that I would like my salary to be in the 70ish🤦‍♀️ I should have said towards the end range. If contacted for a second round, how should I talk regarding $? Feels like I am leaving money on the table. Will they ask again.. does anyone have experience with this situation?

What's up with McKinsey promoting people so fast? We recruit a lot from MBB and we've interviewed at 20+ of these "direct to EM" with only 3-4 yr post undergrad experience. We haven't been impressed and we typically end up hiring people more "junior" in title but with more leadership, work and "life" experience. These fast EMs have not done well in our process and generally come across as a bit arrogant, expecting to get roles they are not qualified for. Have you experienced something similar?
