Just got a 6% raise in my current role a few months ago, so this upcoming raise will be less (percentage wise) than my peers before me and trying to figure out the best way to get a higher base.

PE investment 🐠, how often do you do CDDs to actually diligence the asset and you would be happy if the report is not fully positive vs. you have already decided to acquire the asset and just need a positive report to convince the IC and lenders?

Do PE companies know that many CDD partners would make their team’s life miserable if the story is not positive because they think investment teams won’t work with them as often if they raise red flags? All T2 firms do it, many MBB partners do it too.

I asked for a raise at my small agency, it’s my first in two years. I’ve been offered a salary bump that’s less than 10k and barely takes me into the low end of a senior AD salary range. I am going to counter but need two pieces of advice:
1. What is a good source to find / support the average salary range of a senior AD
2. What is too big of a counter? I’d like to be at 90. But if I counter with 90 I assume they will come back with less than that.

I’ve been at my company for three years now and I haven’t had a single promotion. While others who have been hired after me have been promoted before me.
