Hi Fishes, I have offers from PwC(risk advisory) and IBM(app development). Thing is that the PwC joining is at Kolkata location but I don't want to go there and stay. There is not much difference between the offers in terms of package(10 & 10.4). Can I ask PwC to provide WFH or change my office location for this? Deloitte EY PwC KPMG
Hi All,
I have 7 years of experience in total in SAP Integration technology and I have been offered C2 manager position with Capgemini with a package of 30.5 LPA.
Is it good to join? Can I still contribute technically at C2 role? Or would it be pure managerial role? Also please let me know how much variable pay would be paid at this role? I have around 2.8L variable per year as a part of the package.
Any pointers will be highly appreciated Capgemini

No one seems to care about coming to office. When i asked manager if i can work remote i was told that its for my career development. Can you guys tell in Canada which companies are offering remote opportunities?

LTI and Mindtree merger planned on 6 May as per media report . The brand name Mindtree will be dissolved. Seems appraisal discussions and hike is pending due to this event.
Don't expect good hike and people who can sense the future work culture , will start looking for the change now

EY. Cap underpays and SF is too expensive. EY will pay better and have a better cost of living.
Yeah I'd do a little research on standard of living in SF before considering it. Silicon valley is driving up cost of living to insane levels and now a similar situation is developing in Seattle. I learned the hard way cost of living matters especially early in your career. That said, you're going to get fantastic experience at either firm. Good luck.
From everything I’ve seen I would suggest to stay away from Cap.. mostly staff augmentation work
Their supply chain group is super good. Their Salesforce practice was okay. But personally went to the shitter when they bought iGATE a few years back.
Go for EY as it is really good from a professional development perspective. You will get the real consulting experience. Cap will just give you lots of tech trainings and put you on staff aug projects
Working California is tough. We had real issues staffing campus hires because some were legally considered hourly based on payscale (per California law). Never could get them on out of state projects because projects would have to pay overtime.
Houston is a great base because of oil and gas for SAP, as well as a good place to centrally fly out of.
