Interviewing for a PM role in series A (Canadian) FinTech with 2yoe, they're insisting on a salary range and I can't dodge it anymore What should I ask for (comp/options), considering I mainly want options, but also decent pay so I can exercise those options?
Hoping to get my PHR in the next year or so. Outside of employer reimbursement, are there other opportunities for this to get funded? I know SHRM Foundation offers scholarships for the CP, but I am looking for PHR specific help. Thank you! :)
Am I the only one freaking out about layoffs at KPMG? (Can't update profile to KPMG for some reason) We are all on pins and needles waiting!!!
I have recently got an offer from IBM with Annual Reference Salary as 28.5 LPA and with retirals it is mentioned as 30.5 LPA. What will be my tentative take home salary after all deductions and tax?
I feel like I need a career coach because I am considering switching jobs but I don’t know where to go or where to start. I feel really overwhelmed and don’t know what I’m qualified for. And then always worried another job could be worse than the one I’m in now. Am I the only one like this? Where do you start? I can look at job postings and all but idk what I want to do long term. Especially with WFH I feel like there’s absolutely no networking or anyone to talk to outside of my team
I have an interview scheduled for this Friday but I’m feeling very unprepared. I need more time to think through my professional experiences and how that translates to the role in question. How does it look if I move the interview to next Friday? Would that raise eyebrows?
Went to a top uni but got average grades - was perhaps overly committed to volunteering plus military reserve service inc 2 deployments. Looking at moving from big 4 strategy & transformation consulting to a T2/ MBB with 2 YOE. How much will they care about grades? It’s the major thing putting me off. Does anyone have experience with Lemonade homeowners insurance? Annual savings for me is ~$1600. Thanks FB!
I received an offer from Big 4 for an SC3 role. The offer states that I will be eligible for a salary adjustment in Oct 2022. What does this mean? Is that when annual raises occur, or will they review my performance and determine if I should be promoted to manager? I have enough YOE for a manager, but the team recommends that I come in as SC3 to learn how things are done since I have no prior consulting experience.
Breakthrough thought: instead of lying and saying your sick, take a sick day for mental health reasons. 99% you need it
Hey ladies, I just started in consulting and haven’t started saving before opening up a 401k with my company, but want to do something else as well. I want to be financially independent and learn how to invest but I’m not sure what to do next / am lacking in the financial literacy department. Do you have any recommendations on next steps or resources that helped you learn about this soade? Thank you so much :)
Been here several years. Only just clicked to me how predatory Big 4 are. Business model is to use cheap, underpaid labor from college grads who can't go elsewhere or pay debts. Churn em and burn em.
Anyone in Denver have recommendations on where to get a rapid covid test on a Sunday? Just learned I’ve been exposed..
