Hi community,
I am interviewing for a 12-month remote design contract with McGraw Hill and their cap is $55K (with benefits), though not on salary. This feels a little low to me, especially after setting aside ~28% for self-employment taxes, but it would pivot my career more into edTech which I would love. Any thoughts on what I could negotiate into the contract outside of money to help make the offer more manageable? (If I receive the offer that is, of course).
KPMG does waive it at Hertz, I know EY used to back in the day as well
Yes
Yeah usually that’s waived and you don’t have to pay for/register other drivers from your firm either so make sure they know you’re with Deloitte. “Do you even know who I are?!” or something like that
