My resume got shortlisted for Operations Associate/Engineer-Amazon Managed Services role. I am an experienced AWS engineer with 5YOE.I feel like this role will be degrading in nature for me. Is it worth joining for this position. I would love to join Amazon based on my experience and skill set. But Not to some position which doesn't require AWS experience.

20 years as an exec assistant? Some of those skills might translate well as a mid-level account but it probably won’t be 6 figures
Oh sorry! I was clarifying that all 20 years were spent as an exec assistant. Definitely know it can be (and should be) well paid. Still stand by my statement about account though - might be best option!
Producer, Project Manager, maybe even Resourcing/Staffing.
Frankly, it is easy and comfortable to get your current company to allow you a role change. However, it is hard to break the mental image people have of you being in your current role. As such, it is better to change companies entirely. If you're in a large holding company, ask for a transfer into other sister agencies.
That said, project manager sounds about right. General, not too specialized.
This is true, however it can be fierce competition when others are more qualified than you and it could take a long time to find the new role. I would try to switch internally first, get the experience on your resume and then move elsewhere.
What are you looking for that’s making you want to switch to something different? And what market are you in? Do you think your current agency would allow you to switch to something different? Typically it can be hard to make a switch like that without the direct experience so doing it at your current place would probably be wisest way to do it, and they know what you’re capable of too.
The role has changed a lot over the years. Staring out I worked on a lot of new biz pitches, wrote articles for corporate communication. I got to be behind the scenes with ceos and learn about what makes an agency tick. The last five years devolved into me throwing keggers and literally cleaning the conference rooms because our holding company fired the day cleaning staff and millennials are entitled and leave garbage every where they go. I went from helping run a company to being an RA at a college dorm. I love advertising, gor my degree in it and want to be involved in creating it. I had the option to be a senior project manager but after talking with a few of my colleagues it sounded like they were wotking 80 hr weeks. I already work 60+ and was hoping a change would give me some of my life back. My current agency doesn’t have a production dept, they outsource that part. I think Id like to be more on the ground with making things happen.
